Club Scrap Delft Blog Hop

Welcome to the Club Scrap March Blog Hop featuring the Delft kit. If you have arrived from the super creative Roni's Inkstains Blog then you are in the right place. If not, hop back to Karen's post at the Club Scrap Blog to see a complete list of all the talented bloggers.

I chose to create a mini album with gorgeous papers and goodies from the Club Scrap Delft Deluxe kit.

Each signature is scored and nested one on top of the other. They are then attached to the spine with Bookbinding Glue. I die cut the Lt. Blue photo mat with a Sizzix Mixed Media 2 Thinlit and layered it with the Dk. Blue panel. I love how this die matches this kit perfectly!

I adorned the outside of the album with paper flowers.

The spine paper is stamped with the broken tile and crackle images from the Delft Jumbo UM set in Fossilized Amber and Broken China Distress Oxide Inks. Lightly misting the images with water activates the inks to oxidize and makes the images pop!

Scroll to the end of the blog for details on how this project came together.

Up next on the hop is Tina's Finding Your Niche Blog.

Attach book board pieces to cover and spine papers with Club Scrap Bookbinding Glue leaving a 1/4" gutter between the covers and the spine.

Mitre the corners with scissors being careful to leave a 1/8" space between the book board corners and each cut.

Wrap the outside cover and adhere with Bookbinding Glue.

Attach the inside cover paper with Bookbinding Glue.

Score the 6.75x11" Dk. Blue Print at 4.75 and 6.25".

Score the 6.75x10.5" Lt. Blue Print at 4.75 and 5.75".

Score the 6.75x10" Yellow Print at 4.75 and 5.25".

Run a bead of Bookbinding Glue down the back of the Yellow Print inside the .5" scored area.

Adhere the Yellow signature inside the Lt. Blue signature with the score lines centered.

Repeat for the Lt. Blue signature onto the Dk. Blue signature.

Finally, attach the signatures onto the inside of the spine.

Attach the Print photo mats to the Plain sides of each signature with alternating colored papers.

Die cut the Lt. Blue Plain photo mats and layer with Dk. Blue mats.

Attach the intricately die cut Lt. Blue paper with a Needle-tipped Applicator filled with Bookbinding Glue.

Decorate the outside cover with paper flowers and the layered cutapart.

Add silver glitter glue to centers of each flower.

Attach the flowers to the cover with hot glue and add a ribbon bow for added embellishment.
